The Hoodoo Hussy Experience

Decolonize + Liberate:

As I sat in the class listening, everything was being confirmed. Everything Hoodoo Hussy mentioned or spoke about, I was doing, had done, or had thought about doing. It felt like I was recalling and remembering who I was, just sitting there. Nothing was learned, it was all recalled. I was so thankful that I was able to take part in the workshop she presented, it not only confirmed my path, but reassured me that my ancestors are watching and guiding me.

Hoodoo Hussy’s workshop is a must for any Black person wanting to decolonize and liberate themselves from a western approach to the healing arts and Black people magic.

Heal, Educate, Elevate

I believe there is a plant for anything under the sun that we have in our body/mind/spirit that might ail us.

The divine, the source, put that here on this earth for us.

It’s time to return.

Our forefathers, our foremothers, this is how they healed themselves.

We come from a rich, rich legacy of working with the land for all of our needs - including resistance and rebellion.
